Youth Programs and Services 

YNARS youth programs and services help with positive youth development by strengthening young people's sense of identity, belief in the future, self-regulation, and self-efficacy as well as their social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral competence. At the same time, we strive to help families caring for children with disabilities by providing them with resources and receiving respite care breaks, and educating the community on the importance of respite care. 

YNARS Respite Care Home

YNARS Respite Care Home is also referred to as YNARS RCH. YNARS RCH is a community Drop-in Respite Child Care Service for members of YNARS youth services in Montgomery County, MD.

The YNARS Respite Care Home is a respite childcare home for tots - teensIt provides the comfort of home for children. We serve families with a child /children in the household with a developmental disability, their siblings and friends can attend RCH with a visitor pass. Parents enjoy the drop-in care options and the affordable full-day, half-day, and monthly membership rate respite care rates.

If you would like to join our Waiting List for Slot that may become available send us this text message:

"Add (Child's Last Name)  to your Waiting List for RCH Services."            

At 301.900.0657 We will have a customer service representative add you to the Waiting List.

You will receive text message updates on where you are on the waiting list. When a slot becomes available you will receive by text message the application link and additional information about RCH.

RCH Programs: A calendar of activities is submitted to families that are members of this program monthly. 

Parents Night Out - ages  6 -12 

Playtime Sessions - ages 3-5 attend most weekdays during the

Fall - Spring.

M/W Breakfast Club & Storytime 9:30 AM-12:30 N.

Spring In 2 Fun - a Spring Break Program for school-age children.

Summer Fun - a Summer Program for school-age children.

Drop-in Care - Tot Sessions ages 18 months - 2 years old attend  T/R 9:30 am  - 12:30 n.

 Preschooler Session: ages 3-5 attend  T/R 12:45 n. to 4:30 p.m.

 Before & After Respite Care- ages 6 -12, Open  M-F,  MCPS full school days open at 3:30  pm - 6:30 pm, 

MCPS half school days open at 12:45 n. - 6:30 pm.

YNARS4KIDS 

YNARS4KIDS is a Community Service. This service provides Respite Community Childcare Outings for ages 3 - 12 to children with and without disabilities in the community in Montgomery County Maryland. 


YNARS4KIDS offers families caring for children relief with respite childcare in the community in the form of Community Respite Care. YNARS4KIDS offers Inclusion services in the community. Each Community Respite Care Day Outing is fun and exciting.

YNARS4KIDS Programs: 


 * Saturday Respite - is great for kids and parents, parents drop off and pick up their kids after each Saturday Respite session. Sessions are 5 and 7 hours outings on Saturdays, kids play, meet other children, and explore fun-filled community activities and events, children attending Saturday Respite receive two meals and one snack. Parents receive activities and events schedules prior to the events and activities to discuss and decide with their children what outing they would like to attend. This program is offered in the Spring, Summer & Fall.

* THE HIGH 5 READING CLUB is a YNARS4KIDS & YNARS ACADEMY

E-Learning program for school-age children. 

 

* THE HIGH 5 READING CLUB is a free online reading program for children anywhere that has access to the internet. This program is offered during the school year.

 

* Kids2Kids Homework Help is a YNARS4KIDS program located in Montgomery County, MD. Kids2Kids is a great program for kids and parents. Parents drop off their school-age children at the Kids2Kids study spot and pick them up after the session is over. During the study session, kids help each other with homework. Kids share study do's and don'ts. Kids learn practice study techniques and skills. Kids read to each other and more. This program is offered during the school year.

YNARS ACADEMY 


YNARS Academy is an online educational resource website.  E-Learning platforms are available for learners from pre-kindergarten - 12 grade. 

Most E-Learning platforms track the learner's progress for academic record keeping.

YNARS Academy accepts all learners from anywhere. You can be a homeschool, public school learner, charter school, or private school learner. Learners learn at their own pace. Learners study smart, not hard.  


YNARS Academy is where learners have a fun engaging interactive learning experience.  

What do Learners need: 

  • Access to Wi-Fi
  • Access to Google Classroom & Google Meets 
  • One of the following devices- a personal laptop, a personal Chromebook, or a personal computer
  • A personal email for example:A Gmail email account. please be advised local public school emails are not compatible to our email system.

Adult & Frail Senior Services

Care Client Advocate - Assist care client('s) with personal medical billing organization, attending, coordinating medical appointment ('s) documenting and record-keeping of medical information for care client ('s).

$37.00 - $57.00 monthly fee for documenting & coordinating medical record-keeping.

$32.00 - $45.00 weekly coordinating medical appointments ('s) accompanying care client to a medical appointment. 

Transportation Escort Assistant - Transportation Escort Assistant also refer to as a "TEA" accompanies care client('s) when utilizing public transportation in the community. Personal Drivers "TEA" drive care clients to and from appointments in the DMV area.

$15.50 - $17.75 Per-hour.

Per-passenger fee $2.00 when a TEA is escorting you in his / her own vehicle. $0.68 per-mile & maintenance - when a TEA is escorting you in his / her own vehicle.

In-home Care Services - Community Care Contractors are certified nursing assistants who provide non-medical care and respite care - bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders & light housekeeping 4-16 hrs daily. $16.80 - $24.40 per hr. in-home non-medical care. 

In-home Care Services - Community Care Contractors who provide medical care are Licensed, Registered Nurses.

Registered Nurses assist in providing total care services to their Care client more than 50% of care services, When care clients require total bathing, needs to be completely dressed, needs total help transferring to the toilet, cleaning themselves, or use of bedpan or commode or are totally incontinent of bowel or bladder more than once daily.

When care clients need help in moving from a bed to a chair more than two times daily or require complete-assistance transfer, need partial or total help with feeding. Care Services Fees range $37.97 - $57.25 per hr. in-home medical care.

Care Contractors Consulting Service

Community Care Contractors schedule Consulting Appointments with YNARS by emailing: ynars4dmv@gmail.com once they have been recruited by a YNARS Recruiter.

 

What takes place at a Community Care Contractors Consulting Appointments: 

  • Be informed of the do's and don'ts of being a Community Care Contractor
  • Learning about the different types of Community Care documents, agreements, forms, and the importance of documentation and submitting forms.
  • How to obtain the needed business resources to provide a quality and professional care service.


Consulting Appointments can be 1 hour - 2.5 hours.

Consulting Appointment hourly fee $45.00 hourly fee in-person and / or virtually. On average Community Care, Contractors have 3 - 4 Community Care Contractors Consulting Appointments yearly.

When Community Care Contractors join YNARS Community Care Contractors Alliance Program. 

They get care leads regularly the whole time they are a member.

In addition, Community Care Contractors save $8.00 on Consulting Appointment hourly fees. 

When you have your interview ask the recruiter about the Community Care Contractors Alliance Program during your Interview Appointment.
